Kim Possible Porn Story: He Who Was Chapter 1

Disclaimer: I dont own Kim Possible

Authors Note: Even though I have way too many open stories that need updating, I couldnt shake this plot bunny. I think I picked it up from a book I read a long time ago, but I really cant remember.

History will be kind to me for I intend to write it.

-Winston Churchill

Out of Order

Two men, two women stood on the dais, like sacrifices waiting to be offered up to their gods. All around them, technicians buzzed about, double and triple-checking the calibrations for the Machine.

The family stood by patiently.

Two men, obviously brothers, tried to put on a brave face for the sake of their companions, afraid that the fear and worry in their hearts should become contagious were it to become visible on their faces.

Two women, one redheaded and heavy with child, the other approaching old age, pretended not to know how frightened their companions were.

All knew the consequences, should the Machine fail in its task.

Finally, the technicians and operators were satisfied, and the signal to go was given.

The Machine hummed to life, and with a pop, the world ended.

THE END

The man was physically unremarkable, though his wife might argue otherwise. Standing 1.778 meters tall and weighing 70 kilos, his dark brown hair had not yet begun to gray, and his eyes had not yet deteriorated enough to warrant correction. His mode of transit was unremarkable as well, for one flying car was much the same as any other, no matter what the automotive enthusiasts might tell you.

His mind, however, was among the greatest of its timeof any timeand that highly remarkable mind was making its daily commute to the Middleton Research Center, where one James Timothy Possible was employed in one of the noblest and most difficult professions of the twenty-sixth century: a historian.

Upon reaching his destination, Dr. Possible landed and climbed out of his vehicle, and with a simple command from his neural implant he sent it to the parking deck for storage. Making his way through the main entrance, he waved to the security guard operating the scanner this morning, was permitted entry, and took the tube down to the seventh basement, down where the Keppler Chronovisors Mk 19 were stored.

The Keppler Chronovisor Mk 1, invented by Jonathan Keppler as part of a drunken college bet thirty years ago, was the defining invention of the century. Each one was the size of a car standing upright, and shaped in a manner vaguely reminiscent of the ancient microscopes their archaeologists had unearthed from the times before the Great War.

Operating a Keppler, a historian could literally look into the past and watch events unfold. The original Mk 1 could only see exactly twenty-five years back (thus losing the bet for Keppler, who had been trying to create a device that would allow his fraternity brothers at the Upperton Engineering Institute to peep at the slumber party that the school cheerleaders had held the previous night), but each successive iteration of the Keppler was able to look further and further back (although, for some reason, nobody could figure out how to view anything more recent than a quarter century previous) culminating in the current incarnation, the Mk 19, which was the first Keppler capable of seeing into the twentieth and twenty-first century, before the Great War.

Before the Age of Madmen.

Authors Note: A bit of a teaser/prologue type thing, I figure this story makes little enough sense without me throwing the whole thing at you all at once. I dont expect this to go for more than five chapters, max, although Ive been surprised before.
